In 2021, the IPIRA Network started organizing the IPIRA Online Academic Colloquium. The IPIRA Colloquium differs from the Annual Conference in that it is limited to only a few paper presentations and allocates a longer time to discuss each paper. Only papers that have reached an advanced drafting stage can be presented at the IPIRA Colloquium. The IPIRA Colloquium discusses works in progress authored primarily by junior or recently tenured academics and is open to the IPIRA Network Members.
The Inaugural IPIRA Colloquium took place in the Autumn of 2021 and was followed by the 2022 IPIRA Colloquium in the Autumn of 2022 and the 2024 IPIRA Colloquium in November 2024. The IPIRA Network will prepare for the 2025 Colloquium during the summer of next year.
